Life Long Friends

Well the story of this page goes back about 40ish ("ish" always sounds better) years.
This is a photo of myself andd one of my longest friends and our mum's and our kids.
Unbelievable. We went to Taronga Zoo for the day. Our friends travelled by plane to get there and it was a lovely day. The weather was beautiful and we all had a wonderful time.
It was an interesting page to create as the paper was gorgeous to start with. There was a lovely sentiment printed across the top and bottom and I did not want to add too much to take away from that. I bought an extra co-ordinating page and cut out the branch and used foam dots to lay it across the top. The chipboard word was painted with my stamp pad and I made the leaves with green cardstock and a bit of glimmer glitz.
I like it. Yep, very happy how it turned out. So if you are one of my friends - beware! You might scrapped next... (or so to speak *chuckle chuckle*). You can see how I made this page on my YouTubevideo numbers 16 and 17 - Life Long Friends Part 1 & 2, and Life Long Friends Part 3.

Last Days Of Summer 2011

If you click on the photographs they enlarge and become much clearer.

Well here's a nice bright beach page. The photos were taken in the last days of warm summer weather we had, actually they were the nicest days by far. It was about 25 degrees, no wind beautiful blue sky, small surf, and a beautiful beach. (Oh and of course, a good book...).

Yes so I thought I would try to capture the moment.

I have also put 6 YouTube videos (see right of this page) as I put this page together. I am afraid that I am still in the learning phase of YouTube so it's a bit unprofessional. A bit of a laugh though. Actually, uploading the music was the hardest part of it all...

Anyway, it may provide some with a spark of inspiration that just may start the creative wheels turning in someone's head. One can only hope. I gathered the grosgrain ribbon with a thread and it reminded me of the sea foam and whitewash on the shore so Ithought it would be appropraite for this page. What do you think?

I cut out some of the flowers and let them fold over the photograpg. The photo I backed on a black cardstock. At the end I added some Kindyglitz to the to edges of the flowers that I cut on the page. Another memory saved...

Paper:

About A Girl "Bella"

s.e.i. "sundress"

Others:

Metal charm, raffia, cardstock, thickers letters, grosgrain ribbon, brads

Pretty..

I've been busy haven't I? Kaisercraft Chanteuse range. So pretty huh?

You can see a bit more on my Youtube video Number 18.

Sisters

You can click directly on the photo for a closer look

This photo was taken when we bought our new camera. I have included a journaling spot that comes out from beneath the page. It basically says that most people remark that the girls look so much alike, but I know that their personalities are very different. Not matter what though they will always be Sisters. Some days that is a good thing and others I am not so sure *chuckle chuckle*...

New Cards

This one is a gift card holder, with a separate card inside for the message.

Well so far I have made 7 YouTube videos. I have to admit, it is actually fun!

Thanks to those of you who sat through them bored stiff just because you were being loyal to me!

So sweet.

Anyway here are some more cards I have just made for my favourite scrapbook shop. It's a range of paper from Kaisercraft called 'Chapter One''and it's lovely. The colours are gorgeous and I think that my favourite this time is the Easel card above. I love the words and the fact that you can pop it somewhere and read it everyday. Beware my friends as there may be one in your mail box next birthday...

Now just in cas you want to have a reeeeeeaallly good look, you can see them on YouTube video number 7.
